Perform PMs in all areas of plant, both internal and external to the facility. This will include, but not limited to, greasing bearings/slides, changing shafts/air cylinders/solenoids, gearboxes, light bulbs, belts, fabricating guards, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems, and completing maintenance work orders. Continually improve machine reliability. Lay-out, drill, cut and weld enclosures, machinery cabinets.

·Read and interpret drawings and wiring diagrams pertaining to the machinery that are assigned
·Must have experience on Lathe to fit bearings to shaft, manufacture simple parts, and turn simple shafts
·Troubleshoot, in a logical manner, mechanical and electrical problems with machinery/plant equipment. Be able to check equipment, components for voltage shorts or irregularities.
·Must be able, when given a project, design, procure material, and complete it with minimum supervision
·Must be able to keep work area/machinery clean and organized
·Familiar with basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, slip joint pliers, hammers, drills, electrical circuit diagnostic tools.
·Must finish work orders in timely manner ensuring that they are correct and complete
Required Knowledge, Experience, Skills:
·Must understand and read basic instructions
·Basic machining skills on lathe/milling machine
·Basic knowledge of common hand tool
·Ability to read ruler/tape measure/ calipers / micrometers
·Ability to isolate circuits and de-energize to perform work safely
·Basic knowledge of motors and control circuits
·Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and wire drawings
·Good oral and written communication abilities
·Good Mechanical and Electrical trouble shooting abilities
·Welding, brazing, machining
PEFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Work Environment:
·Includes all plant areas, indoors and outdoors as needed.
·Concrete Floors, roof areas
·Working at heights, hot work
·Works near energized and moving equipment.
Physical Demands:
·Required to wear hearing protection, safety glasses, uniform, hairnet, gloves
and steel toed shoes
·Required to lift, bend, crouch, reach, twist, and crawl. Required to work in high
places.
·Required to ascend and descend ladders safely.
·Safely operate mobile equipment.
·Standing or walking for extended periods of time.
