Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks.  Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management.  Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services.  Conveys a positive image of the organization.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  • A minimum of six months experience in Oncology or Radiation Clinic and/or direct patient care experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion in an accredited Medical Assistant Training program and/or equivalent experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Healthcare Provider BLS (AHA) certification is mandatory before start of work
  • Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia training within 90 days of hire, if required by department
  • Office Laboratory Assistant License from the State of Nevada within 90 days if required by department
