Responsibilities

Oversees the operation and personnel of the physician office within the Lake Huron Medical Group.  Establishes practices, policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations while providing an outstanding patient experience.  Analyzes and maximizes patient flow while managing financial considerations.  Plans, organizes, implements, directs and evaluates staffing and employee competencies.  Delivers performance reviews, staff recognition and staff counseling as appropriate.  Ensures regulatory and accreditation standards are met and maintained for the medical group.  Analyzes volumes, satisfaction, growth, and fiscal data and develop plans of action as warranted to achieve and maintain desired outcomes.

Coordinates and oversee projects leading to ACO development, including developing strategies to engage PHO partners.  Develops and assists primary care practices with the implementation of Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH).  Coordinates and leads PHO health plan contract management.  Works with PHO practices to increase quality improvement and understand health plans quality guidelines.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1.  Associate degree in business, management or related field required.

2.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.

3.  Minimum of three years supervisory experience in medical office management required.

4.  Knowledge of medical practice operations required and physician hospital organizations strongly desired.
