Responsibilities

The Software Engineer, CDM will be responsible for the design and implementation of CDM (Charge Description Master) Auditing System, building and maintenance of the CDM KPIs Dashboard, CDM Pricing Analytics (including proration), contract/reimbursement analytics, design & implementation of the Real Time Patient Payment Estimation System, design & implementation of a CDM Process Flow System, building data lakes for Supply Chain & formulary systems. The Software Engineer, CDM will also be responsible for analysis and validation of vendor application datasets.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, related technical field from an Ivy League or equivalent university like Carnegie Mellon University, Yale University, Cornell, Harvard, Brown, Princeton, UPENN, Stanford University, UCLA, Johns Hopkins, etc. required.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science from an Ivy League or equivalent university like Carnegie Mellon University, Yale University, Cornell, Harvard, Brown, Princeton, UPENN, Stanford University, UCLA, Johns Hopkins, etc. preferred.
  • Software development experience through coding in a general-purpose programming language required.
  • Experience with coding in one of the following programming languages including but not limited to Java, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, R required.
  • Experience working with data structures and algorithms during coursework/projects, research, internships, or practical experience in/outside of school or work required.
  • Experience working with SQL & NoSQL datastores preferred.
  • Experience programming with two or more of the following languages: Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript preferred.
  • Experience working with front end frameworks like Angular, React.js preferred.
  • Ability to work with large datasets to draw insights and inference mechanisms for building data driven applications and dashboards preferred.
  • Specialization in Data Science, with an ability to design and build efficient solutions preferred.
  • Data Visualization knowledge with tools like Plotly, Matplotlib etc preferred.
  • Knowledge in computational frameworks like Numpy, Pandas, Dask, Spark etc.
  • Experience working on Machine learning, Information retrieval is

Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $64,480.00 to $99,840.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
