Responsibilities

Under the general direction and supervision of IT Contracts Program Manager, with the opportunity to exercise independent initiative and judgment, the IT VMO Financial Analyst will assist with all aspects of the procurement process from preparation of bid and contract documents, to preparing purchases to monitoring billing and following up on payments. He or she will also participate in budgetary planning, reviewing operating costs and, developing and maintaining budget reports for the Corporation's Information Systems projects as necessary.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • A Baccalaureate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related fields.
  • General knowledge of computer and communication capabilities, HIS applications, systems analysis methodology, data management and information retrieval techniques.
  • Three years of relevant work experience in a Healthcare IT organization.
  • Experience working in a health care setting and/or services organization.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present large amounts of data in an executive level format.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain complex financial models.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to communicate solutions.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, MS SharePoint and MS Visio as well as PPM tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail, follow-through and organizational skills.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $16.50 to $53.25. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
