As a Senior Interiors Designer, you will:

  • Lead design and direct project teams on multiple, complex projects through all phases from proposal through construction
  • Be responsible for client engagement
  • Develop and coordinates detailed design concepts, functional requirements and project-design criteria
  • Assist with design and technical coordination among disciplines, and respond to technical implications of design decisions
  • Prepare design presentations, assuming lead in client and owner presentations
  • Execute the firm and project goals of excellence in design, execution and sustainability
  • Direct, organize, and mentor junior staff with responsibility for oversight
  • Work hard, play hard, and learn a lot along the way!

Requirements:

  • Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design
  • 12+ years experience
  • Corporate interiors experience required
  • Advanced knowledge of interiors and design concepts, practices and methods
  • High level of creativity, innovative thinking and problem solving
  • Excellent sketching and/or computer skills and conceptual design skills
  • Successful track record directing or coordinating work efforts of junior staff, with thoughtful, inspirational and collaborative leadership
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal, listening and written; including client presentation skills
  • Collaborative and professional work ethic
  • LEED AP or within 6 months of hire
  • NCIDQ
