Job Title (Public): Regional Organizing Director

Job Location: Multiple Locations across Pennsylvania

Reports to: Deputy Organizing Directors

The Pennsylvania Democratic Party and Biden for President are hiring Regional Organizing Directors to work with our wide-scale organizing operation in the fight for the soul of our nation.

Regional Organizing Directors will be the face of our campaign on the ground, responsible for building the grassroots organization necessary to persuade and mobilize voters for 2024.

In this position you will:

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of field organizers to meet voter contact and capacity-building goals;

  • Develop regional strategies and systems that lead your team to successfully meet daily and weekly organizing metrics, as well as maintain data integrity;

  • Build and maintain political relationships with local leaders in your region to increase buy-in and trust in the campaign at large;

  • Work with state leadership to implement new communications, messaging, and digital strategies in your region;

  • Ensure that all Organizing staff in your region are properly trained on the technical aspects of the job, and work with supervisors and support team to fill the gaps and raise the floor of productivity.

  • Keep your team focused and motivated in a high-stress, rigorous work schedule and environment.

  • Adhere to stated deadlines and maintain effective communication with state leadership.

Top things we’re looking for:

  • Two cycles of organizing experience and at least one cycle of staff management experience is preferred;

  • Strong commitment to Democratic politics and ideals and enthusiasm for electing Joe Biden and Democrats up and down the ballot;

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

  • Enthusiasm for building meaningful relationships in the communities we’re organizing;

  • Goal-oriented and self-disciplined; able to meet tight deadlines and multitask;

  • Either familiarity with or willingness to learn campaign technology including Google Sheets and Votebuilder;

  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced, changing work environment;

  • Ability to work long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends;

  • A valid driver’s license and reliable motor vehicle.

This role is a full time, in person role located in cities across Pennsylvania.
