Overview:

The Pennsylvania Democratic Party and Biden for President are hiring Deputy Data Directors to work with our Statewide Campaign team in the fight for the soul of our nation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with in-state stakeholders to build reports and tools for the PA Coordinated team in line with key programmatic priorities

  • Maintain data standards to ensure data capture and hygiene

  • Develop and present Votebuilder/VAN training materials to the Organizing, Voter Protection, and Mobilization teams in statewide, small group, and one-on-one settings

  • Respond to data support requests and flags

  • Support other members of the Data Team to complete projects as necessary

Preferred background & experience:

  • 1 cycle of campaign experience preferred, specializing data and analytics

  • A technical skillset that includes proficiency in a variety of programming languages/software including but not limited to SQL, Tableau, Python, QGIS and R

  • Proficiency with Votebuilder/VAN at an administrative level

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively and clearly communicate with others

  • Good personal organization, including ability to meet deadlines and tasks multitask

  • Strong ability to communicate priorities and needs orally and in writing

  • Desire to ask questions, receive constructive feedback, and grow as a professional

  • Commitment to equity and inclusion in working with staff and other stakeholders

  • Capacity and desire to work long hours in a campaign setting

Salary: $6,500/mo

Deputy Data Directors will report to the Data Director.
