Salary Range: $116,000 - $202,000

DESCRIPTION:  MSK TriTech Group, LLC (MSK), a wholly owned subsidiary of Patricio Enterprises is looking to fill multiple Intermediate System Engineer positions in support of Army programs such as PM IS&A and PD SAI at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. 

Primary duties will include (but not limited to): 

• Analyze system concepts and performance requirements.
• Provide trade-off and best technical approach analyses.
• Assess the adequacy of system designs and interoperability of like or similar systems as well as proposals for engineering development, production, and upgrades.
• Provide analyses and assessments of engineering change proposals (ECPs), functional and physical configuration audits (FCAs/PCAs), and first article or production qualification testing.
• Originates and delivers technical briefs to the government and contractor personnel on all levels. Responsible for providing technical support system engineering assistance to other elements at the direction of the government client.
• Provide engineering support to the Chief Systems Engineer and Lead Systems
• Develop and review specifications, plans, analyses, modeling, simulations, and reports; and shall provide technical opinions to the Government.
• Review engineering output in the areas of systems level operation and maintenance procedures; performance improvements criteria; tools assessments; metrics management (Metrics Management includes Systems Engineering metrics such as Technical Performance measures, Measures of Effectiveness metrics, Measures of Performance metrics; Software Measures such as number of requirements to lines of code, number of requirements to Use Cases, number of requirements to Function Points, requirements volatility, Unit testing, Component testing, Configuration item testing, System integration testing metrics; Usability is System Usability Score (SUS) or recommended changes to SUS; quality assurance; configuration management; maintenance practices; and technical orders.
• Apply a systems engineering approach to ensure that mission objectives and system criteria requirements are met. Emphasis shall be on the demonstration of clear and definable improvements in the performance, logistics supportability, reliability, and maintainability of systems.
• Provide specialized system engineering and process-based methodology involving configuration support and process refinement.
• Provide systems engineering support with an emphasis on the engineering skills and knowledge required to assess, and analyze large, complex systems and their integration into future Army strategic or tactical systems.
• Prepare, review, and update existing engineering and technical documentation, as required, to support timely and effective acquisition milestones. Prepare/contribute and update the Systems Engineering Plan (SEP) as appropriate.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be detail oriented and organized.
• Must be able to work on many different projects at one time.
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of ten (10) years’ related experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree. Degree may be systems, electrical, electronic, system, software or Computer Engineering; Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 
• 10 yrs of direct experience with intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance software systems.
• 10 yrs of direct experience in the design, integration, configuration, and analysis of complex software systems, military electronics, computer networking, and digital and graphic display systems. Includes direct experience with Department of Defense System Engineering processes.
• 10 yrs of direct experience working with user representatives, and Army and Joint programs to develop and execute interoperability testing between systems. “OR”
• 10 yrs direct experience performing installation, configuration and troubleshooting of information technology systems. Experience administering (installing, configuring and troubleshooting) systems running in Windows, Linux and VMWare environments. Experience in the intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance mission area. Experience with the use and testing of ISR software systems. “OR”
• 10 yrs of direct experience in development of interoperability mission threads between Army and Joint systems.
