As a Data Analytics Engineer on our hybrid agile scrum team, your responsibilities will be end-to-end encompassing analysis, build, orchestration and automation, monitoring performance optimizations, data quality, solution accuracy and compliance throughout the lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with members of the DnA team to understand requirements and help build data solutions and efficient data pipelines primarily using our modern tool stack: Snowflake, Atlan, Fivetran and Astronomer.
- You will be expected to build PatientPoint information domain expertise and own data quality for the solutions and pipelines you create.
- Develop DAGs: accountability for testing and quality of our data pipelines using best practices for frequent releases.
- Participate in Code Reviews
- Develop and maintain Playbooks and Runbooks: including data dictionaries, data lineage, and data flow diagrams, ERDs providing clear visibility into the data ecosystem.
- Engage in all scrum activities including daily stand-ups.
- Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business Technology , Informatics , Computer Science or related field
- Hands-on experience with SQL query and stored procedure
- Hands-on experience with Python
- Basic understanding of CI/CD principles, DevOps practices, data quality testing techniques
- Experience working with large data sets and streaming data.
- Experience with Snowflake
- Experience with Python, Airflow, GitHub and DAG construction, unstructured datasets .
- Exposure to industry standard BI tools like Power BI and Tableau
- Healthcare / Medical Devices domain experience will be an added advantage.
