Qualifications

• Baccalaureate Degree in computer science, information systems management, or a closely related field preferred.  Prior experience may be substituted for Baccalaureate Degree
• Minimum of 2-3 years of recent experience in IT environment
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating System for client/server environment
• Strong knowledge of  Microsoft Office Products
• Strong knowledge of Workstation/Server hardware environments
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Well-developed communication skills
• Commitment to superior customer service
• Flexibility to perform assigned tasks independently or as part of a work team

Job Summary

The Network Analyst will perform a variety of tasks related to providing support for desktop; server; and network environments.

Duties

• Install, upgrade, and support Server and Computer hardware/software
• Assist with planning and implementation of IT projects as directed
• Analyze system faults, troubleshoot, and run diagnostic tests on operating system and hardware to detect problems
• Initiate preventive maintenance on systems and be capable of repairing issues as they arise
• Strong experience with enterprise networking solutions including WAN, LAN, Wireless and VPN technologies
• Experience with VMWare virtual server and workstation environments
• Collaborate with vendors as directed
• Mentor others in the performance of their job duties where applicable
• Communicate effectively with all contacts
• Accept and adapt easily to change
• Support all company policies and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned
