Oil States is currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of Aftermarket Parts Coordinator in Houma, Louisiana.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This Aftermarket Parts Coordinator is responsible for providing assistance within the Aftermarket department in coordinating the movement of spare parts for customer orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Work closely with parts department on prioritizing activities.
  • Work closely with warehouse personnel when pulling parts and packing.
  • Pull parts in warehouse for orders.
  • Pack orders as required by department.
  • Track and report updates on work orders to parts department as needed.
  • Take photos and tag parts as required.
  • Transport material, parts, and supplies to and from various departments as needed.
  • Load and unload materials and equipment on and off tucks.
  • Drive to local areas for parts pick up and drop off.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to improve skills by participation in training programs.
  • Willing to work flexible schedule to complete jobs on time.
  • Ability to be on call if needed.
  • Work closely with parts specialist assisting with sales quotes, orders, workorders, and requisitions. 
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Clean driving record.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Experienced Forklift operator or willing to learn.
  • Ability to follow policy and procedures.
  • Ability to interact with people as required to ensure safety.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Heavy physical effort such as lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
  • Lifting to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged standing.
  • Physical ability to climb on and off forklifts.
