Supply Chain Analyst II

This Is What You’ll Do:

  • Provide support to donor centers, suppliers, and corporate departments as it relates to purchase requests, purchase orders, products, services, and deliveries. Ability to handle large volumes of emails and provide timely responses to requests that may require research to find answers on the centers and/or suppliers behalf.
  • Provide support using SAP and SAP Ariba where you will review purchase requests for accuracy and create and send purchase orders. Assist with issues related to purchase order receipts as needed. Provide Ariba support to other users that are having issues with processing orders.
  • Assigned a product category to manage where you will build strong supplier relationships and be the primary contact for the supplier. You will be the subject matter expert for the products and/or services for the assigned product category where you will handle any project related to your product category.
  • Responsible for sourcing new suppliers and requesting quotes as needed. Handle supplier complaints, customer notifications and change control submissions as needed for assigned category.
  • Manage all supplier contracts in your assigned category. Review and negotiate contracts, get required signatures, be sure key areas of contract meet our standards, and keep track of key dates to be sure contracts are renewed and/or terminated per terms and conditions.
  • Assist with the processing of corporate warehouse orders, items that are shipped to our donor centers from the corporate office. Manage inventory of corporate warehouse stock and place stock orders as needed.
  • Assist with Fed-Ex related actions for our department and support other corporate departments as needed. This includes creating shipping labels, setting up new Fed-Ex accounts and maintaining existing accounts.
  • Assist the department on other tasks and/or projects as needed.

This Is What It Takes:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business administration) or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years’ experience in a supply chain and/or purchasing role.
  • Experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industries, desirable.
  • SAP and/or SAP Ariba experience, desirable.
  • Computer experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Must have sound analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Require excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must be self-motivated, flexible, adaptable to change, and willing to work in a team environment.
