Sr. Supply Chain Analyst-Purchasing 

This Is What You’ll Do:

  • Provide support to donor centers, suppliers, and corporate departments as it relates to purchase requests, purchase orders, products, services, and deliveries. Handle any escalated issues as needed.
  • Provide support using SAP and SAP Ariba where you will review purchase requests for accuracy and create and send purchase orders. Assist with issues related to purchase order receipts as needed. Provide Ariba support to other users that are having issues with processing orders. Create and maintain supplier catalogs including product assortment and pricing updates.
  • Manage auto replenishment programs for critical supplies where you analyze usage, adjust order parameters, and review center inventory to be sure we maintain proper inventory levels and never run out of critical supplies.
  • Assigned multiple product categories to manage where you will build strong supplier relationships and be the primary contact for the supplier. You will be the subject matter expert for the products and/or services for the assigned product category where you will handle any project related to your product categories.
  • Responsible for sourcing new suppliers and requesting quotes as needed. Handle supplier complaints, customer notifications and change control submissions as needed for assigned categories.
  • Assist in maintaining the established Quality System under FDA and cGMP guidelines. Create and maintain Supply Chain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), to ensure customer and vendor compliance. Responsible for annual audit, correcting any audit findings and retraining the team as needed.
  • Manage all supplier contracts in your assigned category. Review and negotiate contracts, get required signatures, be sure key areas of contract meet our standards, and keep track of key dates to be sure contracts are renewed and/or terminated per terms and conditions.
  • Analyze daily functions of the purchasing department to steam line processes for continuous improvement. Create and maintain SOP’s.
  • Assist in the training and development of the supply chain team. Lead training initiatives for centers and corporate departments as needed on new products, services, procedures, and or system updates.
  • Assist the department on other tasks and/or projects as required.

This Is What It Takes:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business administration) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a supply chain and/or purchasing role.
  • Experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industries, preferred.
  • SAP and/or SAP Ariba experience, preferred.
  • Computer experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Must have sound analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Require excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must be self-motivated, flexible, adaptable to change, and willing to work in a team environment.
