Ocean Beauty Seafoods in Portland, OR is looking for a Bilingual sales representative who has experience in seafood sales. We value our customers and need your excellent sales skills to promote our seafood products! Our focus is getting high quality product and sustainable seafood to our local grocery stores and restaurants.  Experience with Seafood sales to Sushi restaurants a plus!

As a sales representative, you will be out in the field working closely with chefs in the culinary community and retail food stores promoting seafood product, offering center of the plate suggestions to restaurants and offering fresh and frozen product, as well as your seafood knowledge to all of our customers.  You will be responsible for maintaining account information and building long-term relationships with customers!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Develop new business
• Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options
• Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements
• Communicate Seafood trends and updates to customers
• Enter orders into the computer
• Relate information to management on customer needs and opportunities
• Provide excellent service to all existing and potential customers
• Handle customer complaints in a positive manner  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Computer skills
• Good Listening skills
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of fresh and frozen seafood, Sushi Products, shellfish, crustaceans, as well as accompanying dry, jarred, and packaged goods
• A self-starter with sound judgment and excellent organizational with sales experience
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills a must.
