Oakwood is a locally owned, not-for-profit, faith-based organization that has served Madison-area seniors since 1948. Oakwood operates campuses in Madison, each offering a full continuum of care and services. Oakwood Village Prairie Ridge is located on the east side of Madison, and Oakwood Village University Woods is located on the west side of Madison.

Job Description:

• Assist with the development and implementation of outreach marketing strategies.
• Conduct research to identify outreach opportunities and partnerships within the community.
• Create content for outreach campaigns, social media posts, emails and website design.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to marketing and outreach campaigns including recruitment campaigns.
• Stay up to date with competitors’ marketing and outreach strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop outreach and marketing strategies for Oakwood Preferred Business lines
• Implement outreach and marketing campaigns and attend outreach events.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to marketing, outreach and recruitment campaigns for Preferred Service Lines.

Qualifications:

• This internship is open to current Undergraduate or Graduate students.
• Marketing, social media, home health or hospice experience a plus.

Timeline: This internship will last from 8-12 weeks, depending on the availability of intern.  There is a possibility that the internship could continue into the fall on a part-time basis, depending on availability of the intern.
