Oakwood Village has an exciting opportunity for qualified candidates to join our senior living community team as aDietary Aide (Food Server).As a Dietary Aide, you are responsible for the pleasant meal service to residents and visitors and for cleanup/sanitation of kitchen equipment and general kitchen area.
The Dietary Aide II positions have:
- Full-time or Part-time hours. AM and PM shifts available. No working past 7PM!
- Starting pay from $17/hr.
- $1.00 for hours work for PM and weekends.
- All positions require a weekend rotation.

Primary Job Responsibilities of a Dietary Aide II (Not intended to be an all-inclusive list)
- Provides prompt and courteous service to all residents and guests.
- Serves meals to residents, staff, and visitors according to menu.
- Checks assignment board for posting of household or table assignments.
- Works in dish room as assigned and executes proper storage of clean dishes.
- Assists with pre-meal preparation in the dining room or for serving in the households.
- Does clean up of dining room or household kitchen including to resetting for next meal.
- Restocks of condiments on tables and kitchen items as needed for next meal.
- Maintains clean and sanitized areas: Workstations, resident dining room, and dish and pots/pans areas.
- Properly labels and stores of food in workstation areas.
- Finishing assigned cleaning duties, when guests have left the dining room or household dining area.
- Communicates with Dining Room Coordinator for any cleanup or setup of any catering needs.

- Carries out job responsibilities in an accurate and conscientious manner.
- Exercises independent judgment and make sound decisions.
- Communicates effectively with the residents, families, team members and vendors.
- Required to work a rotating weekend and holiday work schedule.
