Job Description

NSI's Project Managers are responsible for  execution, manufacturing, and reporting for the delivery of Industrial X-ray Imaging capital equipment systems per customer specifications. This position may also be responsible for managing product development projects and other projects as defined by the business.

What you will do:

  • Interface with all departments within the business to ensure that projects are delivered on time, to scope, within budget and at the quality we expect to deliver.
  • Review contracts to validate scope and protect the interest of the business.
  • Focus on quality, cost, and on-time delivery in support of business interests.
  • Define deliverables and milestones.
  • Prioritize tasks to optimize schedule, resource usage and product quality.
  • Lead regular meetings to provide information, identify interdependencies, mitigate risks to ensure projects are successful.
  • Interface with customers to assure accurate and timely communication of project build status, delivery and installation.
  • Understand proper escalation paths and acts accordingly.
  • Delegate tasks and follow up
  • Monitor progress and provides support as needed.
  • Validate that deliverables are finalized within budget, on time and intervene where needed.
  • Manage departmental interdependencies.
  • Some travel required to conduct on site customer visits.

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • An Associates degree and a minimum of one year experience in project management of capital equipment.
  • Must have good planning, communication, and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Project Management best practices, engineering principles, and the ability to lead multifunctional teams. 
  • Must be able to prioritize, have knowledge of escalation paths, and be able make sound judgments and decisions.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and have strong analytical & communication skills
