Job Description
NSI Electro-mechanical Technicians perform a wide variety of duties associated with Industrial X-Ray system production, installation, and reporting.
$1,500 Sign on bonus for successful candidates.
What you will do:
- Mechanical assembly of capital equipment per drawings, written or verbal instructions.
- Fabrication of components per engineered drawings or verbal instructions to include cutting, drilling and tapping.
- Electrical assembly per schematics.
- Wire and cable termination to panel.
- System power-up and troubleshooting.
- Motion programming.
- Imaging testing (training provided).
- Prepare equipment or systems for shipment.
- Install systems at customer’s site which includes:
- Travel required up to 35% for installations, both domestic and international
- No stay longer than 2 weeks, typical around 5 days.
- Complete system quality and ISO 9001 documentation.
- Maintain and control stock inventory levels
- Participate in improvement projects
Qualifications
What you bring:
- An Associates degree and experience in a related field.
- Mechanical & electrical aptitude.
- Knowledge of fabrication & assembly techniques.
- Blue print and schematics reading.
- Safe operation of hand & power tools.
- Good communication skills & be a team player.
