Description

Pay starts at $14.50 per hour and up to $16.00 hour.

0.3 FTE (24 hours per pay period) Monday - Friday 4 PM - 7:30 PM. Works every other weekend and holiday.

Purpose of the Position

Work involves resident centered dining service, food assembly, dish room assembly, pot-n-pan clean up, cafeteria service, as well as general housekeeping tasks.

Education and Experience Requirements

Required:    

Must be at least 16 years old and able to obtain a work permit

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assembles prepared food for general and therapeutic diets as well as for cafeteria customers.

Disassembles trays and prepares dishes and utensils for washing through flight dish machine.

Completes hand scrubbing as needed and organizes pots-pans work area, performing final cleaning following all sanitation policies and procedures.

Interacts with patients, residents & clients to distribute hot food and records meal intakes.

Records food temperatures prior to and after meal services.

Maintains regular and predictable on-site attendance.

Takes food temperatures prior to and after meal service and accurately records them.

Accurately dates all food and beverages opened on the units.

Other Responsibilities:
