Minimum Qualifications
Completion of a master's degree in accounting and three (3) years of teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Higher Education Teaching Experience Prefered.
Position Description
The purpose of this position is to teach accounting, economics, and business courses. This position is responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, creating and grading assessments, holding office hours, and determining the mastery of course content by the student. This position is also responsible for advising students on classes and participating in the college community via committees and recruitment.
Essential Duties
· Delivers class lectures for assigned classes.
· Prepares lessons and materials for each course.
· Maintains current and accurate records of students’ progress/grades and attendance.
· Replies to student emails regarding questions or concerns.
· Holds office hours at set times for each class.
· Serves on assigned institutional committees.
· Leads recruitment events
Additional Duties
· Participates in professional development activities.
· Other duties as needed.
