Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited institution required in Astronomy and/or Master's degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate hours completed in Astronomy. Credentials to also teach in Mathematics or Physics are preferred.
- All coursework must be from a regionally accredited institution.
- Must be able to work as part of a team and must value collaboration; possess good teaching and organizational skills; able to communicate effectively both in verbal and written expression; and possess an educational philosophy that is compatible with the mission of the community college.
