Position:  Assisted Living Director of Nursing, RNJob Type: Full Time

Requirements: Missouri Registered Nurse, RN Nursing license
Prior experience in ALF required.

Certification to do Community Based Assessments preferred or must be willing to obtain.

Assisted Living Director of Nursing, RN Position Highlights:

• Responsible for oversight of the Assisted Living nursing team and is under the direction of the Director of Nursing
• Monitors and verifies to see that medications are administered as ordered.  
• Maintains a system to ensure knowledge of patient status 
• Responsible for the AL staffing schedule and being on-call
• Responsible for interviewing and hiring applicants, doing performance reviews and holding staff accountable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the medical/health care community, patients, families and staff.
• Ability to do Community Based Assessments for potential admissions
• Assists with obtaining additional services or with discharge planning when residents require an alternate level of care
