The Borough of Madison is accepting applications for the position of full time Office Assistant with a salary range of $40,496 - $58,019. Prior office work experience considered in determining salary. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, general office procedures including assisting residents, processing utility payments, making deposits, posting payments, billing residents, and perform other administrative tasks associated with the finance department. Qualifications include strong analytical and organizational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, ability to work in a fast-paced office environment, self-motivated, proficient at evaluating options and generating solutions and the ability to establish and maintain effective, cooperative, and positive working relations with supervisor, co-workers, officials, and the public. Candidate must have excellent computer skills, proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook. High school diploma required. Associates degree a plus. Bilingual a plus.
