The Borough of Deal is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Department of Public Works (DPW) Laborer. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position offers a variety of duties essential to maintaining and improving community infrastructure. Responsibilities: Sanitation collection. Buildings and grounds maintenance. Sanitary sewer repairs. Road repairs and storm basin upkeep. Snow removal and related seasonal tasks. Requirements: Valid CDL Class B with air brake endorsement, or ability to obtain within six (6) months. Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards. Ability to work overtime during peak times (e.g., snow removal and summer), some Saturdays, and emergency callouts. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary range $41,209 - $44,505 Health insurance and other benefits. Pension plan.
