Duties: Under supervision of the Information Technology Operations division head, assists in the implementation and maintenance of computing components such as servers, networking appliances, desktop PCs, laptops, tablets, cellular devices, printers, and other peripheral devices; assist in supporting information processing system operation; updates and analyzes application software problems; implements and monitors management information systems; analyzes and troubleshoots information processing program; performs system maintenance; installs hardware and software on servers or workstations; performs help desk support responsibilities; Assists in development, implementation, and maintenance of Local Area Networks (LAN) and/or Wide Area Networks (WAN); maintains centralized, decentralized, and remote network services; maintains network security and data integrity; To troubleshoot and resolve network problems, monitor overall performance, and conduct upgrades as required. In addition, will be the primary lead in filling Open Public Records (OPRA) requests. Performs other related duties as required. Requirements – Two (20 years of experience in the maintenance and/or repair of an electronic computer and various peripheral equipment including communication lines and related equipment or, experience in a data or voice communications equipment environment involving troubleshooting and diagnoses of hardware/software problems and electronic equipment installations or, problem identifications, repair, and resolution of telecommunications hardware/software malfunctions. An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, and relevant field. Experience Preferred: LawSoft, ThinkMap, Polaris, ALPR, InfoCop, FileMaker Pro, Avigilon, GTBM, E-ticket, Microsoft Certifications, Google IT certification, Cloud service, Cybersecurity exp.
