Is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to assist in the Municipal Clerk’s Office. Registered Municipal Clerk (RMC) and Certified Municipal Registrar (CMR) certificates are strongly preferred, or candidate must demonstrate a willingness to obtain certifications. Candidates must be capable of performing all statutory duties of the Municipal Clerk, including: Processing license and permit applications; Responding to OPRA (Open Public Records Act) requests; Assisting with local elections (including extended hours on election day); Preparing meeting agendas and minutes; Managing municipal records. Also responsible for issuance of Vital Statistics Records. Applicants must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in administrative, organizational, and computer/technical tasks, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
