The Custom Home Construction Manager will be responsible for managing the construction schedule and ensuring timely completion of housing projects in a quality manner. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to coordinate with trade partners, maintain a clean worksite, and provide exceptional customer service.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Manage the overall construction schedule for the community to ensure timely completion of houses in a quality manner.
  • Monitor and evaluate safety, scheduling, quality, and cost control of trade partners.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly worksite that meets company standards and is visually appealing.
  • Coordinate invoices as required by the Accounting Department.
  • Provide above-average customer service during the construction process.
  • Ensure a safe worksite and comply with all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a team environment with effective communication and problem-solving.

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with a custom home builder.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20/60/100 pounds regularly.
  • The ability to move safely over uneven terrain.
  • Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • The ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift frequently.
  • Continuous walking, standing, and moving about.
  • Repetitive movement of hands, arms, and legs.
  • Constantly work in outdoor weather conditions.
