We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including thisDental Laboratory Technician IIIopportunity withNDX Davisin Wyoming, MI

The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
  • Finishing of dentures.
  • Manage daily job task assignments to keep production running at high levels of efficiency. Use past experience and successes to effectively troubleshoot and problem-solve.
  • Review final work to confirm that quality standards have been met
  • Clean work area daily.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities Preferred:

  • Knowledge tooth anatomy
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to articulate according to Rx
  • Knowledge of materials (i.e. stones, acrylic)
  • Identify through Impressions margins

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience or skill in one or more of the skills associated with a Dental Laboratory Technician.

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

  • Acrylic, Walnut Shells, General Purpose Cleaner
  • Lathe, Shellblaster, Handpiece, Ultrasonic Cleaner, Air Chisel

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach.
  • Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions.
  • Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
  • Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color.
