Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 50+ labs throughout the country.  We are hiring a Summer 2024 Asset Manager Intern at NDX National Dentex Corporate Office in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.  (This is an in office position)

The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time. 

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Conducting inventory audits of existing assets and comparing to the asset record with finance
• Assisting in the development of a process to determine disposal versus sale of existing equipment
• Identifying scrap partners and various channels of sales for equipment
• Execute the disposal or sale of assets for the highest return to National Dentex
• Generating reports to communicate the status of the project, assets removed from NDX, and the net financial impact of each

Skills and Abilities Preferred: 

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
• Strong attention to detail and organization; ability to maintain records and data
• Entrepreneurial spirit and drive to solve problems independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• Proficiency in the Microsoft suite
• Must be willing and able to travel, and have a valid and current drivers license

Minimum Education and Experience Required: 

• Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used: 

• Must complete the following training with Compliance Team:
  • General Safety
  • Hazard Communication
  • Hazard Materials –EPA/DOT
  • LOTO
  • Blood Borne Pathogens
  • Pressure Vessel Permitting

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach.
• Ability to safely lift 25 pounds
• Read and interpret directions provided by leadership.
