JOB SUMMARY:

The Customer Service Representative Assistant will establish and maintain positive customer relationships. In the customer service management system, the CSR will be responsible for entering customer sales orders and releases. The CSR will facilitate communications with the customer, sales, quality and the planning and operations functions.

REPORTING TO:

Customer Service Mananger

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Direct Communication with customers assisting them with inquiries that require technical knowledge.
• Manage customer purchase orders and releases accurately.
• Ensure the proper part number revision on the customer order matches the system.
• Manage the part contract process.  
• Partner with accounting to ensure the processing of customer requests for credit to verify the merit and accuracy of the request, to provide parts pricing, and to obtain export information for customer shipments.
• Responsible for handling and communicating with customers, including delivery updates caused by late or replacement product.
• Facilitate customer requested expedite requests with the operations team.
• Responsible for customers’ follow-up for quotations, samples, literature, new accounts, etc.
• Manage customer open order reports.
• Additional duties as required by Supervisor/Management

SKILLS and ABILITIES:

• Proficient with MS Office Products
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Must be an analytical thinker

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Previous Customer Service experience preferred.
• Experience working with data and order entry.
