What you will do as a Regional Sales Associate (Southern California)
- Generate market information relevant to the assigned territory
- Qualify long-range projects via face-to-face customer meetings
- Perform cold calling to selected schools and municipalities
- Effectively present and differentiate Musco's products and services to customers
- Conduct field market research examining the potential sales of new products and services and completing hands-on training
- Attend tradeshows and conferences
- Support achieve short and long-term strategic goals
What you will need to be successful:
- College degree in Sports Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, or a related field
- 2-5 years of previous work experience preferred, entry-level college graduate will be considered
- Passion for selling and building trusting relationships with our customers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present in front of groups
- Proven organizational and time-management skills, ability to manage the workload as it relates to customer visits, project deadlines, and internal communications
- Work collaboratively with Musco’s internal Team to support our customers
- Self-disciplined to work independently to achieve results
- Tenacious attitude and ability to persevere through sales challenges and setbacks
- Strong technical aptitude to understand and present products and services
- Motivated to learn and develop
- Minimum 50% travel required, primarily Monday through Friday
- Willingness to travel to Iowa and within the United States for training
- Estimated salary range $60,000-90,000 USD
