Our Transportation and Infrastructure Team applies Musco's same proven lighting system to non-sports projects like railroads, airports, ports, architecture, and monuments. Our Great Plains Territory covers Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana.
What you will do as a Regional Sales Representative (Denver)
- Develop strong relationships with Transportations & Infrastructure customers, contractors, specifiers, and end-users in their marketplace to establish regular communication with those contacts
- Generate new sales and project creation to accomplish individual, department, and team goals
- Identify and define key relationships and decision-makers to maximize Musco’s position on projects
- Effectively present Musco's products and services to customers
- Assess customers’ lighting needs and determine which Musco products and services best suit their needs
- Prepare quotes or budget estimates for customers' lighting needs with pricing tools.
- Negotiate prices and agreements including credit terms and collection.
- Ensure that project information and documentation in the sales database are accurate, maintained, and up to date
- Interface with technical staff to accomplish design production and installation of the product
- Participate in weekly updates on current projects
What you need to be successful:
- College degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, or Marketing and at least two years of sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A proven track record of sales success with a technical product is required
- Self-directed and able to make informed decisions independently
- Ability to learn, understand, and teach technical concepts and information
- Analyze and communicate bid and tender documents
- Demonstrate organizational, customer service, and communication skills
- Experience with reviewing AutoCAD, Project Plans, and Google Earth is preferred
- Estimated annual salary range $80,000-130,000
Other special requirements:
- Extensive travel is required (50%)
- Have a valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing background checks and drug screens
