The Angell Animal Medical Center’s compounding pharmacy has a NEWLY CREATED position open for a licensed pharmacist in our growing on-site pharmacy department.

USE YOUR TRAINING AND SKILLS:
The Angell Pharmacist is responsible for accurate and effective execution of all work that falls within the Pharmacy department’s purview, with two primary areas of focused responsibility being management of all quality assurance (QA) programs and oversight of our compounding labs.
Our Angell Pharmacist will be responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and enforcing all QA aspects of pharmacy operations. Additionally, oversight of all aspects of operations within our three separate compounding labs (795 non-sterile, 797/800 sterile hazardous and 795/800 non-sterile hazardous) will be a primary duty, working with input and support from our Pharmacy Manager. We are looking for leadership skills in this roll as the Pharmacist is responsible for the continuous training and development of both our existing and new team members, particularly with regards to operations within the compounding labs.
