Position Summary
The Events Planner helps deliver on business priorities by producing corporate trade shows, sales meetings, and other events to ensure all aspects run smoothly and meet the goals established for the event. The Events Planner uses their creative skills with passion to deliver a best-in-class experience for current and future customers. To be successful in this role, the candidate should have hands-on experience in event management and planning of all types, be a self-starter and have excellent organization, communication, and creativity skills.
Activity & Essential Function Identification
·Manages all aspects of events, collaborating with Marketing and Sales to produce successful goal-based outcomes.
·Liaise with Marketing and Sales to produce compelling physical and digital event properties that reflect the quality, performance, and compatibility of our solutions, while promoting our brand and thought leadership.
·Develops and prepares promotional messaging and materials supporting events, to create interest and excitement while educating and informing the audience.
·Engages and manages suppliers for production of structures and promotions for both in-person and virtual events, working within established budgets.
·Plans and manages the company schedule of events in all aspects, from planning to production, and through post event follow-up.
·Manages the production and update of exhibits and presentations within our corporate showroom in collaboration with Marketing and management to provide visitors with an engaging experience reflecting our brand, thought leadership, and solution offering.
·Administers the Portables program, working with the program vendor to provide exhibit assets to support small tradeshows, open houses, and similar events.
·Manages brand promotion materials and wearables to support events and general promotion of our brand, including management of the corporate brand store.
·Researches and recommends events that help to facilitate company goal achievement and evaluates ROI for all events.
·Increases knowledge of trends in experiential marketing in the industrial automation space for continuous improvement of and increased traffic to our exhibit spaces and experiences.

Travel Requirements
·20% - 25% travel within the Americas
Essential Education, Skills and Experience
·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across various business units while juggling multiple deadlines
·Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with an ability to communicate at all levels within the organization
·Excellent organizational and planning skills, project management
·Bachelors degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent experiential marketing experience
·3+ years of experience in trade show or event management
·Ability to travel to events. Travel will be scheduled in advance.
·Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
This position is hybrid , 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. The location of the office is Vernon Hills, IL.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $130,000.00 and $150,000.00/year however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, including: eligibility for annual discretionary bonuses. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
