Mesa Associates Corporate Services is looking for an Nuclear Quality Manager to join the Quality Management team. The Nuclear Quality Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of safety, reliability, and compliance across Mesa’s nuclear operations. This position will oversee Mesa’s Nuclear Quality Assurance Program, aligned with industry regulations (e.g., ASME NQA-1- 2015, ANSI N45.2, USNRC Regulatory Guide 1.28 R/5, 10CFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR21, 10CFR830 Subpart A, and DOE Order 414.1D) and customer requirements.
The Nuclear Quality Manager will be responsible for:
- Program Implementation and Maintenance: Lead the implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Mesa’s Nuclear Quality Assurance program, including procedures, work instructions, and training materials. Ensure alignment with regulatory and customer-specific quality requirements.
- Auditing and Surveillance: Plan and supervise independent internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of the program. Supervise external audits and source surveillances, collaborating with suppliers to maintain compliance.
- Corrective and Preventive Action: Drive the identification, investigation, and resolution of quality-related issues. Oversee the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions to address nonconformity root causes and prevent their recurrence.
- Commercial Grade Dedication: Support engineering teams in developing and executing Commercial Grade Dedication plans. Help ensure the qualification and acceptance of commercial-grade items for use in nuclear applications.
- Document Control: Oversee the creation, review, approval, and revision of quality-related documents, ensuring accuracy and alignment with established standards.
- Leadership and Culture: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence in Mesa’s Nuclear Quality Program.
- Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular reports on the status and effectiveness of the program to senior management.
- Other Quality Management duties, as assigned.

Bachelors or better in Engineering or related field.
Experience
Required
5 years:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance/control within the nuclear industry. Significant experience with the implementation of NQA-1 programs is essential.Licences & certifications
