Mesa seeks a P&C Substation Engineer who will be responsible for the design of deliverables associated with substation P&C design projects. Assigned tasks will include the creation and revision of panel front views, AC & DC elementaries, wiring diagrams, and yard equipment diagrams using MicroStation and AutoCAD.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- 0-3 years of relevant Electrical Substation Design experience
- 4-year engineering degree or associates degree.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize MicroStation and AutoCAD to create assigned deliverables
- Meet customer’s schedule and budget requirements
- Perform Protection & Control design with high degree of accuracy
- Willingness to travel and work occasional overtime as needed
- Perform careful self-checking activities to ensure the quality of work before it is presented to senior design reviewers
- May be designated to check/review other personnel work for accuracy/adherence to client/national standards as the selected candidate progresses in their experience and knowledge base
Location Requirements:
The selected candidate will be required to report to the Chattanooga, TN, on a full-time basis. After the candidate has established a satisfactory work history, there may be an option for a hybrid in-office/remote work arrangement.
