Schedule: Full Time, 7on/7off, Varied

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team at Meritus Health. As a Pediatric NP, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to pediatric patients in inpatient setting. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care and promote positive health outcomes for children and their families.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments of pediatric patients, including physical examinations, medical history review, and diagnostic tests interpretation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Prescribe medications and treatments according to established protocols and guidelines.
• Provide patient and family education on preventive healthcare, chronic disease management, and wellness promotion.
• Perform procedures such as wound care, injections, and minor surgical interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Maintain current knowledge of pediatric healthcare practices, trends, and advancements through continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Pediatrics.
• Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority.
• Clinical experience in pediatric healthcare settings preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate care to pediatric patients and their families.
