IT Assistant to Chief Information Officer - 80 hours bi-weekly, Full-time days
Under general supervision of the Chief Information Officer,this position will work closely with the CIO in both operational and strategic priorities.Must be able to manage many changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role will serve in many capacities including finance, budget process, vendor management, assistant to the CIO and a resource for other directors in the department.Must work well with other Admin's across the organization and represent IT in a positive light in all interactions. This multidiscipline position is an excellent opportunity for a computer science minded individual to get significant exposure across all areas of IT before selecting a path or specialty in IT and provides an opportunity for internal progression within the Meritus IT dept.
Education - Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience - A minimum of two years office experience required or training / education in IT that is equal to two years of experience.
Licensure/Certification - N/A
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Must have strong interest in learning IT and advancing in the field. Excellent grammar and typing skills with attention to detail. Strong ability to communicate in both verbal and written manner required.
