Graduate LPN- Full Time
630am -7pm or 630pm -7am
Under the general direction of the clinical manager/manager of assigned department and the direct supervision of a registered nurse, performs in a team relationship providing care for patients using the nursing process, judgment, and evidenced based practice to assess and treat responses to actual or potential health problems. Maintains clinical competency and participates in continuing education related to health care issues and as outlined by appropriate regulatory and accrediting agencies. Adheres to ethical principles of practice as defined by the Nurse Practice Act and the ANA code of ethics for nurses. Demonstrates ongoing competency in practice. Reports breaches in clinical or ethical standards to supervisor.

Education – Graduate from an approved nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.
Experience – One year experience in relevant specialty preferred. Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy.
Licensure/Certification – Current license to practice in the State of Maryland. For Meritus Home Health only: Must provide own transportation. Current, valid driver's license, car insurance, and access to a vehicle is required. Vehicle maintenance is the employee's responsibility.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities – Ability to apply the standards of professional nursing practice with compassion and empathy. Basic computer skills required. Must possess high level of organizational and communication skills.
