What You’ll Do

  • Conduct nutrition screenings, assessments, and interventions for patients at nutritional risk in acute, sub-acute, and outpatient settings.

  • Provide individualized nutrition education to patients and families across the lifespan.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team during rounds and consultations.

  • Document thoroughly and efficiently in the electronic health record (EHR).

  • Engage in ongoing education, professional development, and quality improvement efforts.

  • Set and pursue 1–2 professional growth goals annually.

Who You Are

  • A Registered Dietitian (RD) with:

    • Before Jan 1, 2024: Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field

    • After Jan 1, 2024: Master’s degree required, plus relevant Bachelor’s degree

  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Maryland

  • Clinical experience in acute care preferred

  • Proficient in EHR systems and clinical documentation

  • A team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for improving lives through nutrition

Bonus if you have:

  • Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) or equivalent organization

  • C.N.S.C. certification or 5+ years of acute critical care experience (for Nutrition Support Team roles)
