Description
We are looking for an Assistant Imaging Director to join our collaborative team at Memorial Health!
What You'll Do:
Manages department payroll, timekeeping and scheduling systems with accuracy and timeliness. Prepares, monitors and reports on departmental budgets, capital requests, and financial performance. Assists with maintaining and updating the Radiology Information System (RIS), PACS, and transcription/ dictation systems in collaboration with IT. Performs data analysis to support strategic decisions, process improvements, and service line enhancements. Collaborates with the director to evaluate new services, technologies, and revenue opportunities. Assists in reviewing and maintaining the Imaging Chargemaster. Oversees compliance with all regulatory and quality standards; Participates in audit preparation and corrective action plans. Conducts wage scale assessments, staffing recommendations, and workforce planning in coordination with Human Resources. Supports the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff members. Addresses employee relations concerns, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions, following hospital policy.
Provides on-site supervision and coverage as needed for MRI, CT, and General Radiography; Maintains clinical competencies to support patient care when necessary. Monitors daily workflow and modality performance to ensure timely and accurate imaging services. Assists in the development and enforcement of clinical protocols, safety standards, and patient care procedures in coordination with the Medical Director and Director of Imaging. Provides leadership and troubleshooting support to technologists and front-line staff during peak times or when clinical issues arise. Participates in department meetings and facilitates communication among teams to support an aligned, mission-driven culture.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Bachelor’s degree preferred; Masters degree a plus. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Imaging Services, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Experience managing departmental budgets, payroll, and compliance preferred.
Ohio Radiologic Technologist license. Advanced certifications (MRI/CT) preferred.
