OVERVIEW:
The Salesforce Administrator administers the Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application. The role will be responsible for maintaining the Salesforce platform including updates, enhancements, building reports, managing dashboards, workflows and security. The Salesforce Administrator will collaborate with operations teams and support system planning initiatives for the organization. This role will participate in implementation efforts and assist in onboarding new team members into CRM while providing support during transitional periods. In addition, the role will monitor end-user usage of systems and perform daily administrative and user support tasks. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Ensuring optimal performance of Salesforce CRM environment and products.
• Upgrading and configuring Salesforce systems for optimized integration.
• Managing Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups.
• Importing sales department leads, contacts, and other data and support with data cleansing and management.
• Maintaining the sales cloud, as well as building custom reports and dashboards.
• Performing database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing.
• Evaluating and installing new Salesforce releases, as well as providing training and support.
• Documenting processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables.
• Preparing reports for sales and other departments.
• Process tickets related to CRM or Marketing Automation tools and respond to internal administrative requests related to Salesforce or Marketing Automation.
EDUCATION
• General and business knowledge equivalent to a bachelor's degree
CERTIFICATIONS
• Salesforce Certified Administrator preferred; Salesforce App Builder preferred
EXPERIENCE
• 3-5 years of related experience

• Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
• Training users and creating training materials
• Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules)
• Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes including (but not limited to): Flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports
