OVERVIEW:
The purpose of this role is to design for complex projects including but not limited to: advertising, multimedia solutions, online and social media, email, and member communications (digital and print).
The Designer II role conceptualizes graphic design, maintains reference files of templates, creates layout design, provides communication and oversees junior designers. The role will design and develop layouts and graphics while incorporating brand design of the Credit Union. The role will also build reference files and ensure template compliance. Finally, the role will demonstrate solid written and oral communication skills by presenting ideas in a clear and concise, positive manner. Creativity, time management, critical thinking and sound decision making are important to this position. The role has no budgetary impact but does impact revenues through promoting the image of the credit union and traffic of customers with effective graphic design.
This is a hybrid opportunity that will require you to be in office at our headquarters (Enola, PA) 2-3 days per week. The position may require in-person training.
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree
EXPERIENCE:
• 3-5 years of related experience in design
SKILLS:
• Advanced skill level involving problem solving
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively deal with various levels of management and other credit union personnel
• Advanced Graphic Design skills and proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience reviewing and managing tasks in a project management software

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
