Quality Assurance Engineer

 1st Shift, Salaried

6:30 AM – 3 PM, M-F*

*Ability to work a 9/80 schedule

Pay Range: $70K - $100K DOE

Quality Assurance Engineer Responsibility:

  • Reduce scrap annually per corporate and/or department goals. Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials and products. Leads continual improvement projects and initiatives.

Quality Assurance Engineer Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering: Industrial (BSIE), Mechanical (BSME) or related field preferred.
  • Three (3) years’ minimum experience in a quality related position.
  • Proven track record of analyzing data and solving problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in cross functional team setting, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Extremely detail oriented.
  • Ability to effectively manage projects; project goals, known constraints, cost goals and due dates.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities for Quality Assurance Engineer:

  • APQP, Gage R&R, PFMEA and Control Plan experience.
  • ISO/IATF experience.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
  • Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to conduct Design of Experiments (DOE).
  • Possess statistical skills.
  • Experience with Minitab.
