RESPONSIBILITY: Sets up and operates three axis CNC Lathes

EDUCATION / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Two (2) years CNC experience required
• Understand and execute basic math
• Familiar with the use of gauges and measurement devices
• Knowledge of CNC programming and general machining principles is beneficial

JOB DUTIES:

• Ensure proper material and stock size for job.
• Perform machine set ups and first piece inspection.
• Document all information needed to run job.
• Operate machines and inspect parts in accordance with Quality Procedure 
• Verify conformance of parts using micrometers, dial indicators, and optical comparator.
• Review job during run and notify lead person of cycle time variations.
• Accurately weigh up parts for correct daily count and record information on time slip.
• Perform daily and routine preventive maintenance functions.
