Job Description
A successful candidate will be required to manage requirements, review and provide feedback to design from multiple vendors and lead/support various testing for multiple cross functional back-office projects from conception to completion, partnering with multiple stakeholders including product teams, vendors and McD internal departments.
Will be responsible for supporting the Product Management team in defining, prioritizing, and developing capabilities for McD US Workforce Management App. You will work with the vendor and product teams to write requirements and acceptance criteria for features on the product roadmap, and help ensure feature acceptance during development. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining product documentation and aiding in UAT testing.
This role requires experience with requirements gathering (both Waterfall and Agile) and partnering successfully with Vendors, Product Managers and other internal team members on testing and delivering capabilities per requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Write feature clarifications and help maintain an organized product backlog.
- Create and update documents required as part of the product development lifecycle, in close coordination with product and technical teams (business & functional requirements for feature development, functional test scripts, and process documents).
- Shepherd features from definition through completion using Jira.
- Review and prioritize defects impacting customers.
- Serve as a point-person for product questions, and be able to dig deep into problems to help find a solution.
- Build and maintain documentation of new feature releases.
- Assist in prioritizing the roadmap with the product and technology team leads.
- Assist with field testing when necessary. Provide business process and technical direction to the support team when needed.
Qualifications
- Experience working on customer-facing products preferred.
- Experience working on Restaurant Application products preferred.
- Passionate about technology, with an aim to build products that customers love to use.
- Detail-obsessed and able to meet deadlines.
- Curious and a self-starter with a strong bias for action; Consistent track record of “getting things done”.
- Analytics mentality with experience working with data to uncover insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly, solid ability to translate technical verbiage into easily understandable language.
- Excellent collaboration and issue resolution skills.
- Technical development and data integration skills are a plus.
- Experienced testing background with a high attention to detail is desirable.
