Job Description:

Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Mechanic, Senior Mechanic or Lead Mechanic at our Prince George's County Organics Composting Facility in Upper Marlboro, MD. This position performs installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment used for a variety of environmental projects.

Estimated Pay Range:

$46,001.76 - $76,534.73

Minimum Requirements:

Graduation from a standard high school or possession of GED equivalency certificate and 3-7 years experience performing installation, repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment. Formal schooling from an accredited vocational school with a major in a related field may be substituted for experience. Education experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to three years of the required experience. Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points. Some facilities may require possession of a valid CDL.
