Marvin is currently seeking a .NET Developer to help us build engaging systems that improve and transform the Marvin customer experience. Position Overview
In this position, you will use your analysis, design, and development skills to implement solutions that drive value for multiple internal business units and our external dealer network. These systems include our quoting, order management software, and integrations to enterprise systems like Salesforce CRM and ERP.
Highlights of your role
Create and maintain software applications.
- Work effectively both independently and collaboratively as a member of a technical team creating specifications, design documents, and a plan for applications and supporting integrations.
- Develop both new applications and changes to existing applications.
- Actively participate in code and design reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
Testing, Documentation and User Support
- Write and maintain unit tests.
- Collaborate with QA team to get feedback on applications.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolution for escalated support issues.
Team Development
- Intentionally remain current of best practices and research solutions for specific needs/problems.
- Socialize technical ideas, suggestions, and concerns in team settings.
You’re a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- General Knowledge of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, API design, and cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure).
- General Knowledge of .NET programming (C#, VB.NET).
- Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Organizational skills with collaborative team spirit.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-Driven, Self-Motivated, Creative with Humility, Respect and Trust.
We also want to make sure you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- .NET development experience (C#, VB.NET) is required. Web front-end experience (React, JavaScript) would be a bonus.
- Experience with source control (Git, TFS) and CI/CD tools (Azure pipelines) is preferred.
- Experience with order management, quoting or CPQ software is a plus.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
