Our Regional Sales Managers bring our purpose to life by playing a critical leadership role within their region to inspire, coach, and motivate multiple market teams of in-home sales professionals to deliver an exceptional sales experience to our customers. You’ll partner with the Regional General Manager to develop and execute a regional sales programs and strategies to profitably grow market share within the replacement window and door segment.

The Regional Sales Manager takes personal accountability and pride in the success of their teams’ wins. The Regional Sales Manager will cover the Boston and Long Island markets.

Highlights of your role

  • Assist the Regional General Manager with the development of the annual sales strategy and plan, including targets for revenue, closing percentage, average job size, yield/opportunity, profit margin, selling tools, and market share. Represent the sales function on the region-level leadership team as a strategic, future-oriented leader.
  • Reviews regional selling practices and drives changes to meet short- and long-term business goals. Analyze the region’s competitive position and share knowledge and recommend changes to the Marvin Replacement leadership team.
  • Lead sales meetings, assure coverage of all appointments in a prompt and professional manner, and assist with regional marketing initiatives.
  • Regular engagement with sales representatives to observe, coach, role-play, and train to achieve higher sales performance. Recruit and train new sales representatives. Foster a culture of better living within the team.
  • Drive process improvement, training, communication, and execution amongst the sales team to deliver results and continuous improvement.
  • Assist with sales and service issues to resolve them in a timely and effective manner.
  • Leverage available reporting tools and metrics to assess sales team performance and maintain accountability to required sales metrics.
  • Coach the sales team to develop long lasting relationships with clients to deliver word class service which results in repeat and referral business.

You’re a good fit if you have (or if you can) 

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration or related field
  • 2 or more years In-Home Sales experience

We also want to make sure you have: 

  • 5 or more years of management experience
  • Ability to frequently travel within assigned region is required, including overnight stays. Valid drivers license with acceptable record of moving violations is required. 
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Ability to manage time, including your own schedule, but also in assigning work to the team to meet business goals and customer expectations.
  • Fluid and confident verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills with an ability to convey strong, clear, concise messages to target audiences including employees, customers, trade contractors, and industry groups; interact with and motivate cross-functional company groups.
  • Able to set priorities for yourself and the teams to drive business success.
